  • Race #7 was the race that ran until morning.  Test-n-tune cars were run for a while to allow ADRA racers to get through tech.  During that session, one car put down synthetic oil from the finish line to the end of the return road.  ADRA cut one qualifying round out of the program, to help, but at midnight, after second round of qualifying, another test and tune car lost a radiator hose at the launch, and there was antifreeze the entire length of the track.  The track owner and ADRA board members met to decide what to do.  Speedworld was willing to put forth a 2+ hour cleanup effort if ADRA wanted to complete the program.  ADRA racers were polled and a 2/3rd’s majority wanted to try to get the race in.  First round eliminations began at 2:30 am, and we completed at 6:00 am.  Thanks to everyone for their patience and special thanks to all who helped facilitate the cleanup effort!
  • ADRA Race #8:  May 23 @ Speedworld, sponsored by Richard & Mindy Church of Primerica Financial Services.
    • Heavy rain hit Speedworld at 4:45 pm, and the race was called off early.  This will count as one of the 2 dropped races for all racers.
    • Sponsorship $ will be transferred to the Memorial Race payout.
    • Bounty $ will also be used at the Memorial Race.
