Brief discussion at this point of the status of the Track Surface @ Speedworld and the statement that the groove in the right lane seems to be more narrow.
New Business
- No ADRA General Membership Meeting in August!!!! Tentatively, our next meeting will be on Tuesday September 7 (day after Labor Day). We would like to have the meeting to go over any changes since today.

- ADRA Race #11: September 24 @ Speedworld. Sponsored by Broadbent Speed Specialties.

- July 16 = Final TSW Race. ET Finals in Sacramento. Going forward, ET Finals will rotate between Fontana / Las Vegas / and Bakersfield. ADRA expanded the race schedule to 12 races for 2010 due to the distance to the ET Finals and the number of racers not participating. Do we maintain a 12 race schedule in 2011 or return back to a 10 race schedule? General consensus of members present at the meeting voted to keep it at 12, but a formal vote of all members will be taken prior to the final decision.
- Diapers for 10.99 & Faster: Will be required in 2011 @ National & Divisional Events.
- Firebird is up and running. FB Team races scheduled for 7/17, 8/7, 9/4 & 9/5
- Upcoming Events @ Speedworld:
- 8/13 & 8/14: West Coast Hot Rod Association
- 8/28: Southwest Nostalgia Drags (1981 & earlier)
- 9/3 & 9/4: NHRA Heritage Series
- Oct ?: Northern Arizona Shootout
- Super Chevy 10/23 @ Firebird
Open Discussion:
- “Crazy Horse” Bill Rowe and Crazy Horse have been out of the racing scene for a while. The motor was broken and fixed, then the tranny went. The car is parked in the trailer and Bill has been concentrating on his cabin up north. He is in good health following his bypass surgery.
- Ray Bondy: Asked the possibility of keeping the Memorial Race in December. It will be difficult, given the necessary preparations for the Awards party, but it if attendance seems higher this year, it will be considered.
- Englishtown: Another death at this NHRA event was topic of discussion.
- Changes to ADRA Payout Structure? Eliminate small dollar checks and increase payout to racers going more rounds? Consensus was no.
- Gate Fees: Discussion regarding higher gate fees driver and crew on Team Speedworld events and ADRA events. Folks asked Speedworld to consider lowering at least the spectator fee to draw more attendance. Not likely due to lack of advertising budget for Speedworld and cost of media.
- 50/50 Winner: $21 to Scott Hess
Motion to adjourn was made by Dave Pitera, and seconded by Scott Hess at 8:25 PM.
